The full form of CCTV is Closed Circuit Television often known as Video Surveillance. In this system the components like video camera, display screens, recording equipment etc. have a direct connection and can be connected with other security solutions to make the place safer.
How does CCTV work?
CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems are installed with strategically placed cameras. The camera footage is then observed on monitors at specific locations. These cameras are connected through private cables or wireless links. The term “closed-circuit” is used because the content captured by these cameras is limited to be viewed only by authorised individuals.
